This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We cannot verify, recall, clear, or accept payment for a warrant, arrange a surrender, schedule court, or provide legal advice. Contact the Hale County Sheriff, the Circuit Clerk, or the issuing court directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Route the question according to the record and jurisdiction. Hale County does not publish a verified countywide online warrant search, warrant-specific telephone extension, records email, or public active-warrant list.

The Hale County Sheriff is the personal-warrant and law-enforcement route. The Circuit Clerk maintains Circuit and District Court records and served returns but cannot give legal advice. Circuit Court of Alabama, Fourth Judicial Circuit handles felony prosecutions, while District Court handles county misdemeanors, traffic, preliminary hearings, and certain felony proceedings. Greensboro Municipal Court remains a separate city process.
Moundville’s current court route should be verified before sending a payment or record request. Its city website retains a court page, but the Hale County District Judge page says Moundville no longer has a municipal court and that its police traffic filings go to District Court. Akron and Newbern have no verified town-level warrant portals in the reviewed official sources.
For an eligible Alabama traffic citation, the Alabama Traffic Service Center can be reached at 1-866-954-9399 or traffic@alacourt.gov. Have the name, UTC number, date of birth, and ticketed county ready. That statewide service is for traffic matters and is not a general Hale County warrant database. A payment receipt does not by itself prove that an alias warrant was recalled or that an ALEA license hold was cleared.
